Can I supply my own fabric for you to upholster my bed?
Yes. If you are purchasing a bed before it is refurbished then we are happy to use fabric supplied by clients. If you wish to change the fabric of a bed which is already refurbished there would be a cost of approx £120 to cover labour.
Why would I choose a 'sommier' rather than a slatted wooden base?
The slatted wooden bases are the most cost effective way to complete our French beds. However some customers prefer the look and the feel of a ‘sommier’ which is like a divan base. Each ‘sommier’ is custom made to fit the individual bed and can therefore be a way of raising the height at which the mattress sits on the base.
Are your beds easy to assemble?
Yes. Our beds are easy to assemble but we are happy to talk you through the process.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. We can deliver nationwide and worldwide and have indeed sent beds to New Zealand, USA, Japan and many other countries. Please enquire for a delivery quote.
I have a bad back and need a specific type of mattress, can you supply that?
Yes. We work closely with our British mattress manufacturer and will provide a quote for any type of mattress.
My partner is 6ft 6" and won't fit in a French bed
The side rails on all of our French beds can be professionally extended and then colour matched to provide you with a longer bed. The cost of this service is £140.
How can I view your stock of beds awaiting refurbishment, which are not shown on your website?
If you are local we are happy to meet you and show you the beds in person. Please phone and make an appointment. If you cannot come to our premises please email your requirements and we will send photos of what is in stock.
